Jennifer McGuigan has 19 years’ experience within education in Ireland, the U.K. and the Middle East, working at Teacher, Senior Leader, Vice Principal and Principal Levels. Having started her career in the most successful school in Kent, England, she has an incredibly secure knowledge of all elements of teaching and learning.

In her most recent school in the U.K. where she was the Principal, she led a phenomenal change, taking it from “Serious Weaknesses” to “Good” within 24 months. She has also worked as a Specialist Leader of Education for a registered National Teaching Alliance, helping troubled schools in numerous areas, from supporting NQTs in the early years to dealing with rapid school improvement. Jennifer has a Bachelor of Education with Honours (B.Ed Hons) from St Mary’s University College in Belfast.

Her vision for Oaktree Primary School is to make it the leading school in the area and a beacon school for other establishments to look up to. Jennifer believes in success for all and runs with the philosophy that no student will be left behind. A people person and a highly effective communicator, Jennifer understands the importance of “Parents as Partners” and is thoroughly excited to be working at the helm at Oaktree.

I work with leaders at all levels to ensure schools make rapid and sustainable progress. I also run in service teaching and learning training for staff.

Sadia Wajid leads Al Sadiq Islamic English School, this being the third school she has lead as principal in Dubai. She brings to the position 20 years experience in the British National Curriculum and is passionate about teaching and learning. A science teacher by origin her career path encompasses specialisms in instruction and staff development, Head of Secondary School, Academic Leader, and Vice Principal.Her educational experiences have afforded her the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse group of people to meet the common goal of increasing student achievement and well-being. Her educational philosophy is based on her firm belief that all students have the capability to learn and deserve personalized learning opportunities to enable them to reach their full potential. She believes that through hard work and perseverance we can specially develop each child. She feels that teamwork is the ultimate way a school can be successful in reaching the student's hearts and minds. Sadia’s vision, drive, and enthusiasm ensures she leads a strong team of committed educators.

Mr. Mohannad Al Jayousi

Principal : Al Resalah American International School

Mohannad AL Jayousi joined Al Resalah American International School in July 2020. His career began as an English Teacher in Jordan, his home country, in 1993. He moved to the UAE in 1997 and continued working as an English Teacher until 2016 when he joined Al Resalah International School of Science in Sharjah as a Vice Principal. After three successful years there, he joined AL Wahda Private School for fourth year as a Vice Principal.

Mohannad grew up in Jordan and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Jordan in Education with a specialization in teaching English. In 2011 he earned his MA degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from the American University of Sharjah. This specialty area informs his leadership and teaching approach, as he views literacy as the foundation of academic progress.

Mohannad believes that collaborative and respective school environment is the key to creating successful teachers and students. Additionally, he believes that partnerships with parents and community partners are essential to enriching the experience at Al Resalah American International School. The focus of his leadership is students’ learning and progress.

Abdelkarim Amdouni holds a Bachelor Degree in English Linguistics and a Master of Education from Murdoch University. He holds an elaborate experience in teaching and educational leadership. A teacher trainer approved as NEASC visitor and has actively participated in school accreditation in different schools in UAE. The multilingual leader is fluent in Arabic, English, and French wishes to be able to communicate with all levels of individuals at the school and firmly believes that each interaction is a vital factor to mold the children of today into the leaders of tomorrow.

Mohamed Motawea has been a successful educational leader and teacher for the past 25 years. He holds a Bachelor in Education as well as a Bachelor in Business Administration. His experience has covered different countries with an extensive scope in both business and education. He has also spent several years working collaboratively with different authorities and academic companies developing curriculum and teaching practices. In addition, he has delivered quality training for teachers and leaders as well as being an approved AdvancED and NEASEC visitor.  He is a visible leader who has demonstrated an ability to truly connect with students, parents, staff and community members. His philosophy is that all students can learn, given a positive and safe learning environment, strong and knowledgeable leadership, a committed and focused educational team, an encouraging community, and a supportive family.
